The following is a list of courses recommended by Rutgers faculty for the Summer Scholars Program. Please note that courses on this list are not necessarily offered every summer. For a current list of course offerings and meeting schedules, refer to the University Schedule of Classes.
Due to the intense nature of the Summer Session, it is recommended that students take introductory level courses offered in Session II (late June - late July) or Session III (early July - mid-Aug), which meet after the high school term has ended.
Extensive overview of marketing: the process of creating goods and services in response to consumer wants and needs. Study of the marketing function in business firms and nonprofit organizations. Consumer behavior, marketing research, industrial marketing, pricing, channels of distribution, and promotion.
